New Beer Hall in Seattle’s SLU

Longtime Seattle catering standout Gourmondo and Biomed Realty, a company specializing in life sciences realty, have teamed up to open SLU BRU, a casual beer hall located at Dexter Yard. This open-block campus at the intersection of South Lake Union’s tech row features over 250,000 square feet of office and lab space, including The Fieldhouse, a one-of-a-kind, 5,500-square-foot multi-use area.

SLU BRU offers thirsty and hungry visitors a lively spot to meet, socialize, or watch a game while enjoying one of 15 Pacific Northwest craft beers on tap alongside elevated fare.

You’ll find a curated selection of local and regional brews from favorites like Holy Mountain Brewing (Interbay), Boundary Bay Brewery (Bellingham), Obec Brewing, Matchless Brewing (Tumwater), and more. Cider fans will also find something to love at SLU BRU, with offerings such as Channel Marker and Incline ciders currently on tap.

The food menu boasts a tempting array of snackable treats, ranging from gourmet Chex Mix, artisan cheese plates, and charcuterie to heartier options like hot sandwiches (all priced under $10), pizza from Tutta Bella, piroshkies, and more. In true Gourmondo fashion, large group orders are also available with advance notice.

As the neighborhood returns to business as usual, SLU BRU aims to become a hub for after-work gatherings. Patrons can enjoy a variety of events, including Music Bingo on the first Monday of each month, game nights on Wednesdays, Trivia with Geeks Who Drink on Thursdays, and a weekly Friday happy hour from 4–6 PM.
