Chefs Khampaeng Panyathong and Jenessa Sneva are a dynamic culinary duo and the proud owners of three successful restaurants in Seattle. Both graduates of the Seattle Colleges—Khampaeng from North’s Culinary Academy and Jenessa from Central’s Culinary Academy—they first crossed paths while shucking oysters at Elliott’s Oyster House. Their shared passion for food and exceptional dining experiences led to the creation of their acclaimed eateries.
Their flagship restaurant, Taurus Ox, serves Laotian-inspired fare that quickly earned recognition for its bold, inventive flavors. The restaurant was included in Seattle Met’s 2021 lists of Best Restaurants on Capitol Hill and Best Burgers in Seattle, while Eater Seattle named it to their 2022 list of 25 Essential Capitol Hill Restaurants and 38 Essential Restaurants in Seattle.
In addition to Taurus Ox, Khampaeng and Jenessa opened Ox Burger on Capitol Hill, a spinoff celebrated for its creative takes on the classic American burger. In 2024, they expanded further with Ananas, a Laotian-influenced pizzeria and dive bar located in the former Primo pizza space on First Hill, offering an unexpected twist on both pizza and cocktails.
Tickets will be released May 1 at 12pm.
