Harbour Air provides daily flights between Lake Union and downtown Vancouver, BC.
Harbour Air was founded in British Columbia in 1982. With two small de Havilland Beaver seaplanes and a plan to service the forest industry, Harbour Air began by offering private charters to log buyers visiting the coast. With growing success and an increasing demand on both commuting and touring service, the company quickly expanded over the years adding daily, frequently-scheduled flights between Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, Sunshine Coast, Whistler, and Seattle.
The Seattle terminal is situated on Lake Union at the south end of the lake close to city’s downtown core, where Seattle’s downtown borders the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI). The shared Kenmore Air seaplane terminal rests beneath the shadow of the Space Needle. Located just minutes from some of Seattle’s hottest restaurants, bustling Pike Place Market, and historic Fremont Bridge, it provides a central destination for exploring the city.
