New to SLU: Waxology

Treat yourself at this new beauty studio in South Lake Union.

Open since late February in the new Amazon Frontier building (2251 Seventh Avenue) near The Spheres, Waxology offers a wide range of beauty enhancements, including brow services, lashes, and facials.

Owners Brandi Pattison and Athena Walker pride themselves in making a visit to Waxology a “best-friend experience” where clients feel comfortable, accepted, and safe in the studio’s space.

“We welcome everyone here. Our services are for all body types and sizes. We just want you to look and feel your best,” Brandi said.

Waxology’s estheticians offer full facial, body, and bikini waxing. According to Brandi, the team has taken its time to figure out how waxing can be as easy an experience as possible. So why waxing? Brandi explained that waxing leaves you feeling smoother longer since you are removing hair at the follicle rather than cutting it at the surface.

In addition to waxing, customers can book appointments for brow lamination for extra fluff and fullness; lash extensions for a fuller look; lash tints and lifts that give a curled look (think mascara without mascara); and a selection of facials, from dermaplane to nano-needling and more. Plus, customers can also shop an excellent selection of retail beauty products, too.

“People work their butts off every day. It’s important to treat yourself. Beauty is self-care. It makes you feel good when you get a treatment. We want everyone to have that experience here,” Brandi said.

As spring slowly marches toward summer, it’s the perfect time to start a new waxing or beauty routine. Waxology is offering 15% off a service for new clients. Ready to book your service? You can call 206-486-0496 or reserve online.

Note: Waxology has a sister location in Everett, so make sure you select the Seattle location if that’s where you want your treatment.
